Profile

PortraitWell, my name is Jason Parrott, (obviously) a.k.a. fanatic. I am 23, and I live in Stamford, CT. I work for FactSet Research Systems as a UNIX Systems Engineer.  I absolutely love my job, and everything about technology.

Where do I come from?

I was born and lived the first 23 years of my life in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. I owned Superiorserve and did a bunch of website design in my free time. I went to high school at Alexis I duPont and attended college at the University of Delaware, ultimately earning a B.S. in Computer Science, with honors and a B.E.E. in Electrical Engineering. Check out my UD page for my truncated transcript.

Online, I am known as Fanatic. I’ve been into the Myst phenomenon in the past. I used to play Counter-Strike, and a member several clans and leading two clans. I also played Diablo II for a while.  I’m a big fan of Blizzard (it would have been great to work for them), and I pretty much commit hundreds of hours to each of their games.
